I'm with your family at every step — building a thoughtful school list, preparing for interviews, and working through the whole process together. I work with a select number of families each year to ensure that every student receives comprehensive support throughout their journey.
WHAT THE PROCESS LOOKS LIKE
Initial Assessment
A one-on-one meeting and intake surveys to evaluate skills and overall strengths in order to understand and highlight the student’s unique talents and achievements.
Personalized Plan
Create a tailored roadmap covering academics, extracurriculars, and test prep, with regular check-ins and continuous refinement of your application strategy.
School List
Build a focused list of schools that accurately match the student’s goals. Student and parents complete intake forms, discuss the findings with Matt, and share transcripts and any standardized testing, from which a list is then compiled, with periodic follow-up and adjustments as required.
Mock Interviews
Provide full coaching to fine-tune a student’s preparation for each school the student interviews with. Support includes in-depth feedback for each session, as well as pre- and post- interview follow up with the student.
Essay Support
Expert guidance to craft and polish essays and application materials for maximum impact. Sessions include a preliminary brainstorming conversation, with follow up meetings to refine drafts.
Advocacy
Strategically follow-up with schools pre- and post-interview, as well as during the evaluative stage and, if necessary, when a student is waitlisted.
Enrollment Guidance
Hands-on support to ensure school choice and matriculation at the ideal school.
